Back in October, I joined Warren St. Patrick, an established photo‑ninja with a great understanding of his landscape and community in Jamaica, and his friends as they hit the green narrow roads of the Blue Mountains on our way to the top of Holywell mountain.  As the fog was settling, Warren and I chatted about the depiction of Jamaica to the rest of the world. Warren commented, “Capturing the true essence of Jamaican culture is essential. Far too many times we see creatives interpret the culture prim and polished, but we should document ourselves truly, so the outside world will be more receptive of our lifestyle.”
