Pet Levity

After completing his hard‑hitting book of portraits of young women living with Cystic Fibrosis, SaltyGirls, Canadian photographer Ian Ross Pettigrew (also living with CF), felt a new project with some levity might be in order.  Mellow dogs and geckos gently floating in custom‑fitted harnesses (“I tried one cat and that was a disaster”), against the warm, pastel palette of their balloons and backgrounds make this charming ‘Floating’ series hard to resist.  We dare you not to smile.
