Families come in all shapes and sizes. We love how this series with Willie B. Thomas focuses his lens on the one parent family, creating authentic and beautiful images of life as a single mother.  Subjectively refreshing and aesthetically adept, Willie varies his use of angles and focal lengths, giving the viewer different perspectives while building narrative and pace.  Using tight shots, he draws the viewer into close and tender moments while his wider shots open us up to the flurrying everyday moments of a busy life as a single parent.
